ST Kinetics-NAMIC MOU Signing
As part of the collaboration with SAF, ST Kinetics, a first-tier supplier to SAF, will collaborate with NAMIC leveraging on their expertise in 3D printing as well as their network with research and industry partners.
The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC) aims to support more industries, expand into new areas and access new technologies via strategic partnerships with local and international stakeholders. To date, NAMIC has 3 strategic partnerships and multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) partnerships with various local and international industry players across the AM value chain. These MOUs have translated into existing NAMIC projects and pipelines, with more to be developed.




As part of the collaboration with SAF, ST Kinetics, a first-tier supplier to SAF, will collaborate with NAMIC leveraging on their expertise in 3D printing as well as their network with research and industry partners.

The four organisations will collaborate on developing and certifying Laser Aided Additive Manufacturing technology in fabricating large-scale structures for newbuild vessels.

MOU will enable SAF to leverage on NAMIC’s expertise in 3D printing as well as their network with research and industry partners. SAF and NAMIC will collaborate on the development of qualification standards and conduct research into the military use of 3D printing.

The Shanghai Additive Manufacturing Association (SAMA) has come together to establish a strategic partnership with NAMIC. The collaboration will focus on AM technology standards development for medical devices.

Partnering UL, one of the global leaders in AM training and facility safety certification, to develop workforce development programs. Under this partnership, UL has piloted the Testing and Certification Guidance Program and is looking to offer NAMIC UL-SME Foundations of AM training and certification course in the upcoming Industrial Transformation Asia Pacific Tradeshow.
