Can 3D printing and design be done completely on one’s own as a completely blind person?
A visually impaired Reddit user, Mrblindguardian, has developed a novel artificial intelligence (AI)-based workflow that allows him to design and 3D print custom models from scratch.
He takes advantage of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Luma AI to design 3D models using text inputs and AI-generated image descriptions to refine his final design until satisfactory before the print.
The final product? A custom one-winged dragon created from his imagination.
