NAMIC announces strategic partnership with Alexander Daniels Global and launches job portal to strengthen the AM job market

NAMIC announces strategic partnership with Alexander Daniels Global (ADG) and launches “AM Careers@SG” jobs portal to strengthen  AM Jobs Market.

NAMIC has partnered with Alexander Daniels Global (ADG), a UK-based global recruitment firm with offices in UK, Spain, US and Germany, specializing in 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing. ADG connects global companies with skilled AM professionals and this partnership will extend NAMIC’s outreach in providing support to the local AM ecosystem.

From the accelerated production of 3D-printed nasopharyngeal swabs to face shields during the COVID 19 pandemic, the AM community has demonstrated agility and resilience using 3Dprinting technologies. According to a recent study by Thyssenkrupp, AM has the potential to create more than 3 million jobs in ASEAN by 2030 [1].

Singapore has seen a steady growth in the AM sector in recent years, with more than 150 companies now having a presence in Singapore [2]. Testimony to this growth is the commissioning of PSA’s AM Centre as well as the launch of global industrial giant, Siemens’ Advance Manufacturing Transformation Center (AMTC) this year.

With technological disruptions compounded by the pandemic impacting several industries, NAMIC is focused on pivoting its services in tandem with the growth in the AM industry. The launch of a job matching service such as the AM Careers@SG platform is timely and well-positioned to support the needs of the growing AM community.

Visit https://namic.sg to access AM Careers@SG.

NAMIC will be extending a free trial period to companies from 01 December 2020 till 28 February 2021. Do reach out to NAMIC via [email protected] if you require more information.
