Senior Minister of State for Health and Transport, Dr Lam Pin Min together with his team from the Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union (SMOU), Singapore Organisation of Seamen (SOS), and Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) prepared 1,000 care packs for the ships in the Port of Singapore and also, presented the face shields to the Seafarers on the Day of Seafarer, that were manufactured by the local start-up, Siege Advanced Manufacturing for their additional protection when wearing a mask during the journey home.
