The 2-day Global AM Summit of Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC was presented by NAMIC, hosted by NTUitive, as part of its NAMIC AM Summit series to raise awareness and thought leadership.
Opening Address by Guest of Honour Mr Chee Hong Tat, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Education, said, “Additive Manufacturing technologies, such as 3D printing, will be a game changer for the manufacturing sector. It is already transforming and disrupting simple manufacturing, lowering the cost and time for rapid prototyping. With Additive Manufacturing, manufacturers can now easily customize the production process, potentially reducing overall time-to-market.”
The summit covered the latest progress on material innovation in enabling 3D printing serial production with leading AM thought leaders sharing their insights on the latest developments around sustainability, industrial and consumer applications.
