The first Gulf 3D Printing Olympiad was open to all students between the ages of 10-25 residing in the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. The competition was aimed at inspiring young entrepreneurs by fueling their innovation and creativity through 3D printing. The theme was “Design Your First Consumer Product” and inspired by Her Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoumy vision of innovation. Participantss were asked to design and print an innovative product, preferably something that could help people in their everyday lives.
