Innovation & Enterprise Fellowship Programme 

Innovation & Enterprise Fellowship Programme (IFP) with NAMIC is a paid 12-18 months on-job training that enables technical professionals in any industry to gain Additive Manufacturing (AM) technical, operational experiences and business acumen in lab- and/or non-lab based roles. IFP covers areas such as project management, translational and commercialization business execution, and formal AM classroom and/or workshop trainings. This programme will recruit numerous fellows throughout a span of three years.

Be one of the AM Talents equipped with technical knowledge, business acumen, and operational experiences with access to varied career opportunities in the deep tech industry after the programme not limited to the following

  • Tech commercialisation role – to bring research outcomes to market or scale existing outcomes
  • Founder for Startup – to establish and operate new company with AM Technology, Solutions or Services
  • Employee for Startup – to support in commercialising proprietary technology or bringing it to an investible stage
  • Partner or mentor for Accelerator or Incubator – to perform technology due diligence, support startups in commercialising their technologies, or help startups scale and/or internationalise

Who should apply?

Individual who has passion in engineering and strong interest with deep technology in any industry verticals with few years of industry experiences (e.g. Engineer, Industry designer, researchers etc), or early/mid-career technical professionals.

Individual who must be committed to complete the 12-18 months programme.

Hiring organisation may imposed contractual measures to fellow who resigns voluntarily from the programme.

Applicant Eligibility:

  • Fellow must be Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR).
  • Candidates should hold a Postgraduate, Masters, Bachelors (with minimum 2 years of industry experiences) degree or Diploma (with minimum 5 years of industry experiences).
  • Fresh graduates with AM-related experiences are welcomed to apply.
  • Industry experience in mechanical, electrical, computer engineering or other engineering related fields industry. (Experience in Additive Manufacturing, Test and Certification, Digital, R&D, Technology, and/or Operations environment would be a big advantage).
  • Good organisation skills, motivated, self-starter with ability to perform duties independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and a second language of choice.
  • High integrity, balanced self-starter, great due diligence.

The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC) is a national platform hosted by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), supported by the National Research Foundation under the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, together with Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board.
