AM Engineer

Job Description

Job Scope:

To provide end to end planning, direction and coordination of the entire additive manufacturing process.

1. AM process planning and quotation
2. AM design and reverse engineering
3. AM operations – EOS, OPM and FDM machinesAM Manufacturing operations:
   • Check design and drawing’s specifications are correct and according to customers’ specifications
   • To prepare work piece set-up for 3D printing according to work instruction
   • To manage 3D printing machines, ensure machines are well maintained and good house-keeping and observe safety rules
   • To handle the recycle materials and ensure materials are within quality specifications
   • To ensure traceability of drawings, machines are well utilized to captured maximum unmanned utilization hours
4. AM post processing: Machining and outsourcing

The successful candidate will be given training and mentoring and ensure success in a good career planning.

Qualifications and experience:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering discipline or its equivalent technical certificate with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the different additive manufacturing process and the fundamental mechanisms of operations.
• Innovative and creative thinking, excited by the opportunity to work with leading edge technology.
• Must be a team player and keen to learn and develop new skills, ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills with strong interest in pursuing technical solutions and breakthroughs.

Training:

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this position
• A comprehensive 6-month On-The-Job training will be provided to equip the incumbent the necessary skillsets
• Remuneration will commensurate with experience and qualifications

Key deliverables:

• Ensure production parts are delivered with the right specifications and on time.
• Ensure that machines are well maintained and operated efficiently.
• Ensure effective work scheduling and planning.
