Established in 2022 as a spin-off from the Singapore University of Technology and Design, Castomize is on a mission to make healthcare more effective, accessible, and less invasive through the creation of impactful medical devices with advanced manufacturing. Castomize works closely with local leading healthcare organisations to design and commercialise novel solutions. The company’s first device is a series of 4D-printed orthopaedic casts which improve comfort and convenient for patients, while increasing accuracy and ease-of-use for clinicians. Having won multiple design and engineering awards, Castomize’s 4D-printed casts have been sold in multiple markets, and is now scaling globally.
