Assistant Manager/Manager, Project and Operations, NAMIC

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manager of Project and Operations to join our dynamic team at NAMIC. This role involves managing the project processes, documentation of the projects, and working closely with the program and operations team to manage projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the project processing, managing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate the NAMIC project processes and facilitate project delivery and completion.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare, collate, and issue Letters of Award and grants to recipients, documentation of projects, and ensuring compliance with A*STAR policies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on project pipeline, status of projects, and project outcomes to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Grant Management: Assist in the management of the grant lifecycle, from application review to project completion and reporting.
  • Administration: Support administrative and operational matters.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Preferably 1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably within a government or technology-focused organization.
  • Skills: Project management, excellent communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (include Power Automate, Azure DevOps), and experience with A*STAR iGrants system would be beneficial.
  • Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the additive manufacturing industry and government grant processes in Singapore is highly advantageous.
