Agnikul Cosmos, an Indian start-up, successfully launched the nation’s first 3D-printed rocket engine on 30 May, paving the way for reduced time and costs associated with building rockets and boosting India’s spacefaring capabilities!
The success of this mission achieved three milestones: Demonstrating India’s first launch from a private launchpad, showcasing the country’s first semi-cryogenic enginer-powered rocket launch and ultilising the first single piece 3D-printed engine designed and built domestically to power a launch vehicle.
