Founded in 2017, Tokyo-based ExtraBold Inc. is a leader in large format pellet 3D printers. Its vision is to increase the industrial adoption of 3D printing through rapid modelling while minimising material waste. Focusing on recycled and biomass-derived materials, its Singapore subsidiary, ExtraBold R&D, established a research lab at NTU’s Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) and has collaborated with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology in Thailand.
