EcoLogicStudio’s Bit.Bio.Bot architectural exhibition, part of the Venice Architecture Biennale, displays an impressive mix of architecture, design, science, sustainability and urban farming in its algae cultivation installations where they harness the highly efficient metabolism of algae, along with 3D printed bioplastic and glassware. Algae are powerful photosynthesisers, with 10 litres of microalgae cultures consuming an equivalent amount of carbon dioxide as 3 mature trees. `
