SUTD Study on the Impact of Additive Manufacturing on Stem Cell Differentiation

In stem cell development, stem cells can be differentiated in to specific cells to form tissues and organs, which is a valuable resource for regenerative medicine. A challenge faced in stem cell differentiation is the inability to regulate parameters in embryoid bodies, which will have an effect on the type of cells produced. In order to overcome this, researchers from SUTD conducted a study on the positive effect of additive manufacturing on controlling geometrical variations in stem cell development.
