Project Collaboration Agreement Signed @ NAMIC’S 5th AM Summit

The agreement was established with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster(NAMIC), on 17 April 2018. The event was held during the NAMIC’s 5fh Summit on Maritime and Energy Summit. With this arrangement, MPA and NAMIC will collaborate on innovation and development of maritime and energy applications related to digitalization and advanced manufacturing. The collaboration reinforces Singapore as a living lab for maritime and energy technological development. At the MoU signing, NAMIC also announced their partnership with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) to develop National workforce AM competency framework with the goal to produce advanced manufacturing professionals in line with MTI’s Industrial Transformation Maps (ITMs). Over 250 industry players attended the summit held at Sofitel Singapore City Centre. They walked away learning about new ideas realized by 3D printing to improve designs and manufacture parts in a faster, cheaper and more efficient way. To find out more, click
