Craft Health is a healthcare company leveraging 3D printing technology to simplify the process of pill taking for both patients & consumers. We are a Singaporean Deeptech company working at the intersection of hardware (CraftMake) and formulation work (CraftBlends) for use in the pharmaceutical industry.
The Craft Health technology platform consist of 2 segments:
- Proprietary 3D printable formulation database (CraftBlends). This database consists of various formulations that enable a specific release profile (immediate, delay or sustained release). These formulations consist of FDA approved materials and are rendered 3D printable.
- In-house 3D printer specialized for 3D printing of nutriceuticals or pharmaceuticals (CraftMake). We have developed a GMP ready 3D printer specialized for the high throughput 3D printing of nutriceuticals and pharmaceuticals without heat or UV. We can print formulations of different release profiles within the same pill.
Applications:
Pharmaceutical industry:
(1) Use of 3D printing in clinical trials allow for small batch quick turnover of changes in dosing on site.
(2) Combination of multiple medicines into a single pill to address issues of polypharmacy and poor adherence to medicines.
Nutraceutical industry:
(1) Personalization of nutraceuticals to the individual as a new product offering.
(2) Rapid testing of new products for consumer feedback before mass manufacture.
