SQ4D has developed a patented 3D printing technology, Autonomous Robotic Construction System (ARCS), to build houses. They seek provide sustainable and affordable residential housing to improve on traditionally-built houses. These houses can be completed in a week and are said to be stronger and safer. The ARCS prints a framework that represents approximately 41% of the build, onto which other fittings such as roofing, windows, gutters, doors, and more are added manually, leading to savings on labor-intensive processes.
