Partnership between Additive Innovation Centre (AIC) and ELH Tech for cost-effective, high-throughput AM technologies

ELH Additive Manufacturing, a leading additive manufacturing (AM) service bureau in Singapore, has successfully transitioned from traditional manufacturing to advanced manufacturing through the integration of additive manufacturing processes. The company has now announced a strategic collaboration with the Additive Innovation Centre (AIC) @ A*STAR, hosted at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) and supported by the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC Singapore). This partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of advanced metal and polymer AM technologies across Singapore’s industrial landscape.

“This collaboration is set to transform the manufacturing industries in sectors, such as precision engineering, semiconductors, and aerospace by providing faster, more efficient, and cost-effective advanced manufacturing solutions. As global interest in additive manufacturing continues to grow—especially in Singapore—this initiative comes at a crucial time, offering service bureaus and contract manufacturers (like ELH Tech) the opportunity to meet the increasing demands of various sectors,” said Mr. Simon Si, Technical Director and Founder of ELH Tech.

Through this partnership, AIC and SIMTech, A*STAR, will work closely with ELH to strengthen its AM capabilities and capacities. The focus will be on co-developing cost-effective, high-throughput metal and polymer AM technologies, positioning ELH as a leader in batch production and quality assurance. By enhancing its technological expertise and upskilling its workforce, ELH will be better equipped to deliver cutting-edge solutions to its clients.

Furthermore, the collaboration will explore new applications and components that unlock the full potential of AM, targeting both established and emerging industries. This partnership represents a major milestone in shaping the future of manufacturing in Singapore, empowering businesses to innovate, optimize their operations, and maintain a competitive edge in the global market.

“We are thrilled to support a local SME like ELH in addressing the region’s growing demand for additive manufacturing. This collaboration will drive innovation and industrialization, enabling ELH to scale regionally and bolster its competitiveness on the global stage,” said Dr. Sharon Nai, Director of AIC.
