Additive Manufacturing (AM) is growing globally, and this is aided by Open Call initiatives which provide funding to accelerate AM adoption and advancement. US-based AM Innovation Institute, America Makes, has launched a new Open Project Call (OPC) totaling $1.6M in funding. On the other end of the globe in Singapore, business accelerators Enterprise Singapore and National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster have partnered up to launch their Open Grant Call for Parts Analysis and Design for AM programme on June 1, 2021, to support local Singaporean businesses in evaluating and adopting 3D printing technologies.
