Norsk Titanium supplies Boeing with Titanium AM parts, produced by Rapid Plasma Deposition (RPD) – a technology patented by Norsk – signifying a notable increase in the number of metal AM parts manufactured and installed in new aircraft models. With RPD, there is a reduced need for raw materials, which subsequently limits the ecological footprint of the various components produced.
