π A Potential Breakthrough for 3D Printed Medication π
Chinese pharmaceutical company, Triastek, Inc. gets the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Investigational New Drug clearance to test a blood thinner pill made with 3D Printing. This pill is 3D printed with a patented internal structure to release the drug slowly in the stomach throughout the day. This means patients only have to consume the pill once a day. With this pill, we are one step closer to simplifying treatments for patients with illnesses where blood clots pose a major threat.
