This specialty workshop is co-developed by ASTM and America makes an emphasize that the need to fill AM data management and schema gaps is increasingly becoming evident and that many organizations globally are investing in this area and it is critical to identify challenges, pain points and discuss solutions and opportunities. Standardization in the AM data ecosystem is a key enabler to pave the way in wider adoption of AM technologies

One of the outcomes of this workshop is a roadmap that captures the input of various sectors and allows us to map out existing challenges, summarize gaps and come up with some potential future solutions to improve data management and use by timely development of related standards.
