An Additive Mindset for a Changing World – How Marine & Offshore Companies Can Harness the Benefits of Additive Manufacturing

23 July 2021

In this webinar co-organised by Enterprise Singapore (ESG), Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI) and NAMIC, we will explore the successful business case studies of Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies in the Marine & Offshore sector.

Common challenges in the M&O sector include (1) the significant lead time and skilled manpower resources required to fabricate customized components or parts (2) the high operational costs incurred from inventory management i.e. warehousing a wide array of spares and consumables. While AM was originally consigned to rapid prototyping, today it is increasingly used to produce high-performance end-use parts in various industries such as aerospace, automotive and biomedical.

Join AM industry experts to discover the potential and benefits of AM and be inspired by M&O companies who have taken the leap of faith to adopt Additive Manufacturing as part of their operations.
