Solution Architect

Job Description

Position Summary:

Pelagus 3D is seeking a Solution Architect to be part of our growing team. The dynamic candidate will manage and develop the next stage of our digital platform, and lead efforts with customers towards providing an optimised experience.

The candidate will develop our platform’s technical infrastructure roadmap, provide oversight on the development team’s work to ensure proper implementation, and to engage customers to integrate their processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a developer working on digital marketplace platforms and is well versed in designing integration with enterprise systems.

The SA will also oversee the data privacy compliance with international regulations and cybersecurity best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Optimise Platform Architecture:

– Own the backend architecture and ensure optimised configuration for high operational availability and scalability

– Maintain oversight on infrastructure growth requirements according to the platform roadmap

– Work with development team to ensure proper implementation of codes and databases and propose solutions to challenges in feature implementations

– Develop and maintain technical documentation

Platform Integration:

– Lead integration efforts with customer ERP (e.g., SAP Ariba) and PMS, ensuring reliable data communication and process synchronization.

– Design robust integration methodologies while ensuring scalability across customer accounts.

– Conduct technical meetings with customers to understand requirements and to communicate integration plans and progress.

– Provide technical guidance and support to customers throughout the integration process.

Technical Skills:

· Expert knowledge in cloud-based IT architecture and design.

· Good knowledge of coding languages and databases such as JAVA, Spring Boot and SQL servers.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to understand complex business requirements and identify the most suitable IT solutions

· Experienced in designing and implementing integration solutions using middleware, APIs, and other technologies.

· Strong understanding of integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and middleware platforms.

· Proficiency in ERP systems and their integration mechanisms.

· Basic project management skills to drive integration initiatives with customers

· Good knowledge of international data regulations and cybersecurity best practices

Non-Technical Skills:

· Excellent written/oral communication skills in English

· Good interpersonal skills and comfortable with working with international customers

· Passionate for technical excellence

· Self-motivated worker that can take charge of tasks

· Comfortable performing demonstrations in front of clients and team members

· Able to facilitate client change management for buy-in of new tools and processes

Profile:

· 5+ years of experience as a IT lead or Architect, or similar role in a technology-driven organisation.

Education:

· B.E./B.Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science/IT or similar discipline.
