Additive Manufacturing Program Manager (Singapore)

DESCRIPTION:

Looking for an Additive Manufacturing Program Manager capable of driving projects in Singapore supporting medical innovations. The person will be responsible for evaluating areas of interest, qualifying them and managing projects through the life cycle supported by local design resources and PrinterPrezz’s additive manufacturing (AM) innovation center in Fremont, CA.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Develop, implement and track customer development proposals for customers and partners
  • Knowledgeable in AM part quality and process controls, and inspection methodologies and technologies (e.g. CT scanning, other NDT, blue scanning, CMM, roughness, powder inspection MFI (melt flow index), etc.)
  • Experience managing AM production part qualification plans and scaling parts from prototype to production – pursue improvements/cost reductions for support material reduction, part packing density, powder egress, and build success rate
  • Drive the development and implementation of SPC tracking and reporting of equipment KPI as part of quality control for production builds
  • Manage root cause analysis on AM parts failures, participate in CAPA, as well as devise corrective or improvement plans to lower part scrap rates and increase AM production throughput
  • Knowledge of conventional manufacturing processes (complementary to AM processes, such as CNC machining, coating, plating, infiltrating, painting, injection molding, casting, investment casting, etc.)

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS:

  • Must possess strong leadership/management skills, ability to solve complex problems and be self-motivated
  • Deliver on assigned tasks in an allotted period of time and work with minimum guidance and supervision
  • Must be customer focused while also being focused on cost, quality and delivery
  • Extensive working knowledge with various AM industrial and prototyping technologies and their associated post-processing workflows (primary technologies of interest for this role are FDM, SLA, DLP, SLS and LPBF)
  • Previous experience or knowledge of medical device manufacturing and customer management preferred

EDUCATION:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering related discipline, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of equivalent experience, medical device or aerospace experience preferred
